Banana mashed- 1/2 C
Whole wheat flour- 1 1/4 C
All purpose flour- 1 C
Instant yeast- 1/2 tsp
Salt- 1 tsp
Honey- 1/4 C
Egg (beaten)- 1
Oil- 2 tbsp
Warm Milk -for kneading
Take a bowl and add all the dry ingredients and mix well.
Then add in the oil,honey and egg and mix well with a wooden spoon.
Now add the milk gradually and start kneading to get a smooth elastic dough.
Cover the dough and let it rise fro about an hour or more.
Punch down the risen dough to release all the trapped air and shape into desired shapes like buns,loaf or a plait as I did.
Let it sit for another 20-30 mins.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for about 30-40 mins or until done.
Cover with a kitchen towel to retain the softness if not using immediately.
You can replace whole wheat flour for all All purpose flour for a more fluffier and softer bread.
