All purpose flour: 1 1/2 cups
Sugar: 1 cup
Baking powder: 2 tsp
Butter: 2 1/2 tbsp
Juice of 1 lemon
Rind of 1 lemon
Beat the sugar and butter
Then add well beaten eggs, the lemon juice and the rind.
Then mix in the flour and baking powder.
Grease a loaf tin or line it with a baking paper.
Pour in the batter and sprinkle chopped nuts of your choice on top if you like
