Ingredients:
Whole wheat flour-2 C
Rava/Semolina-1/2 C
Yoghurt-4 tbsp
Water-3 to 3 1/2 C
Salt
For tempering:
Oil-1 tbsp
Mustard-1/2 tsp
Cumin-a pinch
Curry leaves-1 sprig
Onion – 1 small chopped
Take the flour and rava in a bowl.Add enough water and make a batter with normal dosa consistency.
Stir well to get a lump free batter.
Beat the yoghurt well and add into the batter and mix well.Add salt.
Now heat the oil in a pan.Splutter the mustard and cumin.Then add in the chopped onion and curry leaves.
Saute until the onion gets soft and (very)light brown colour.
Remove from heat and after 3-4 mins add this to the batter and stir well to incorporate.
Now heat the dosa tawa and make dosas as you prepare the normal dosas.
Serve hot crispy dosas immediately with your favorite chutney or sambar.
Notes:
You can also add chopped green chillies and pepper for spicier dosas.
